Task
Design and fabrication supervision of three new passenger bridges for the cruise terminal of CCCB
Project execution
After the successful planning and award of the construction contract, our planning ARGE was assigned to the construction supervision of the project. The production site of the three passenger bridges is located in Spain. There, we regularly check the status of production during on-site visits with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of the construction progress. From January 2023, the construction supervision of the installation phase for the three bridges will then take place on the newly constructed quay area in Bremerhaven.
What have we learned?
Building bridges that move in themselves is a technical challenge far beyond the usual construction requirements.
